About Vasiliki’s Workshops

Following numerous online courses which profoundly shaped her understanding of equal opportunities in the dance field, Vasiliki spent two years researching dance education at King’s College London, where she graduated with distinction. This experience ignited her passion for creating an inclusive environment where every individual feels empowered to express themselves. Her research illuminated the barriers often faced by diverse groups in dance, leading her to develop a teaching philosophy rooted in accessibility and personal growth.

In her classes, Vasiliki views dancing as a dynamic process rather than a static final product with predetermined outcomes. She is deeply interested in guiding her students to discover their own movement language, encouraging them to transcend their perceived limits and embrace their individuality. Vasiliki believes that every dancer has a unique voice, and her role is to help them find and articulate it through movement.

Her workshops draw from a rich tapestry of styles, including street dance, ballroom Latin, and physical theater. Each of these forms serves as a versatile tool, enabling participants to explore new possibilities and ways of expressing themselves physically. Vasiliki emphasizes that these movement concepts are not confined to any specific style; rather, they can be adapted and integrated into each dancer’s personal practice, allowing for creativity and self-discovery.

Vasiliki has led workshops and masterclasses worldwide, teaching at Arts On Site (USA), Jersey City Theater Center (USA), W Gościach (Poland), mignolo arts center (USA), Percorsi Coreografici (Italy), Torre del Lago Dancing Time (Italy), U.Dance - FABRIC (UK), and Bath Spa University (UK).
